The file you are now reading is 0006indx.txt.  It lists and
describes each file in this directory.

The file sqpat6x6.bas is a complete program, derived from
00soccol.bas by applying changes described in the Nov/Dec 2000
Computer Column of The Cryptogram.  See the Sep/Oct 2000
Computer Column for help in using the program.

The file sq3crib.bas drags a crib through three-square
ciphertext, showing the number of matches at each position.
The Computer Column describes the method.

The file unix2dos.bas converts a word list from Unix text
format to MSDOS text format.

The file 00issu06.zip contains the files in this directory.  
The .zip was created under MS-DOS and its files are in 
DOS ascii text format.
