This file describes the other files in the 01issue06  
directory.  
  
The Nov/Dec 2001 Computer Column contains only a few     
lines of code to illustrate a bug in the DiAvg() routine     
introduced in the May/June 2001 Column.  The program in    
that column, PtaxStat.Bas has been updated with the new   
DiAvg() routine even though the bug did not affect the   
operation of that program.  
  
The program VFamDiag.Bas in the Sep/Oct 2001 Column was  
slightly affected by the bug and has been updated.  
  
The updated programs are in their original directories  
here (01issue03 and 01issue05).  I have also placed in  
the current directory a second copy of the corrected  
VFamDiag.Bas.  I have also extracted just the digraph  
routines for easy incorporation into other programs.  
They are in the current directory in the file DiAvg.Bas  
  
The file 01issu06.zip contains the other files in this  
directory.  The files are in Dos ascii format.  
  
A note for users:  Except for the .zip file, the other  
files in this directory are in Unix text format, which is  
different than MsDos format.  Users of Windows/Dos are  
advised to download the .zip file and extract its   
contents using WinZip or some other unzip utility.  
If you download the text files directly, you may or may  
not experience problems depending on your own text   
editor.
